Social and Online Games

 

Most of us are familiar with traditional video games that are played on game consoles like the Xbox, Playstation or Wii. These tend to be single player or multiplayer games that are played on a television screen. In recent years, there has been a growing trend of social and online games.

Social games are those that can be played with other people, either in person or online. They tend to be less competitive than traditional video games and often have simple gameplay mechanics that are easy to learn. Popular social games include Words With Friends, Farmville and Bejeweled.
